Finally I'm well enough to report to work tomorrow. Feel rather anxious somehow. Hope this flu of mine ain't playing leap-frog tricks on me. One day ok. The next day deteriorates again. *cross-fingers*. Well being a 'filial' daughter, i glued myself at home and do some household chores. Little bro smiled widely at me cos I have to do his dirty laundry for him. Save it boy..! To kill time, I watched online movies over and over and over again. At the same time texting people.

Bro is undergoing knee surgery tomorrow. With gods will, everything runs smoothly but sad to say he will have to rely on crutches to assist his infirm leg to walk. And with his presence at home, he is able to utilise his time to source out wedding decorators for his upcoming wedding. There still time. Dont panic. No worries.

And mom, thanks for reminding me countless times to take my medicines. I can be forgetful at times. Hehe..

Yeeehaaaaa…. Today meet up with Wan for movie. We cant decide what to watch. X-men, Star Trek, Uninvited Or Ramen Girl?? Finally come to conclusion. And the verdict goes to *drum roll* Uninvited. Yeah!!! Thumbs up. =) Applause for movie creators of ‘Disturbia’ and ‘The Ring’ for this suspense trailer. The story line was up to my expectation although there were incident where it shocked most of the audiences. I must say even the middle-age couple who sits next to us were daunted by the sudden scene. But before that, we had lunch at BBQ Chicken. TWO thumbs up for the genuine services and delectable main course inclusive of chicken chowder as appetizer and heavenly creamy choice of ice-cream as desserts. Woah!! Cloud Nine!!! The next plan was to go to the museum to learn more on Singapore heritage but we decided to window shop instead. Well, that’s about it. I’m all worn out. Still need to work tomorrow so better get some shut eyes. Good night readers…

Sad.. Left with only the bone..

Both Wan and I went hiking on Mothers’ Day last week. Hehe.. Mommy went out with daddy so she told us not plan anything as the dinner which took place at Sakura the week before initially for all wonderwomen of the house. Wan and I start it off by raced up the irregular staircase. Take five and continue with the journey.

The serene landscapes truly make me fall in love with mother earth’s creation. From Marang trail to Henderson waves to Floral walk to Hort Park. Right after that we visited my grandma at Telok Blangah Rise estate. We had lunch and chat with grand daddy Othman.. Well, you know yourself youngsters like us dislike lengthy conversation but luckily the TV was on to attract my attention.

Aunt Ita heard from grandma that I stopped by to have lunch so she called me up and insisted I pay her a visit too. Since I missed my darling Illyas so much I don’t see why I should reject her invitation. Blamed Wan for taking his own sweet time to get dressed cos when I reached Aunt Ita house, Illyas already in dreamland. Hmmph..

Thats all for now. =)

Yesterday we all went to have dinner at Clementi Woods Sakura. Its 2 storey high stretch across the dining area was a full course of buffet line up just for you. Ranging form entree to salads to soups to desserts. Boyfriend busybody as always. Messaging me to save the prawns for him. Of course I'll saved it but its kept nicely in my stomach. lolx..

One table is catered to all those single status youngsters (aged between 18-25) like us. We make an exception to Uncle Zainal (in green) who requestted to be youngsters for a day so we allow his wife and son to sit with us. Im amazed by how gluttoned my cousins were. One plate mountain-full of prawns in a table. Indeed we tried almost everything on the house except for the paper pizza. Yum...Yum..

Cant resist the chocolatey taste, we raced back up the first floor and picked out variety of desserts like mochi stuffed with red bean, cheesecake and peppermint delight. After much wait, finally my grilled scallop with oyster sauce arrived. At one point felt rather pity for the waiter. He's drenched in sweat. Gracefully I thanked him for bringing my food all the way down. Job well done! hah.

Its not the food thats makes me bloated instead the tonnes of laughter and jokes we created. Grandfather Othman wanted to make afew comments and remark for this gathering so we cut out our slapstick nonsense for awhile. One moment of silence. Shh.. Any one found uttering anything will be severely dealt with. No age limit. hahahaha....

Me: Perhatian semuanya, Atok nak buat pengumuman.
(Attention all, Atok wanted to make a speech)

Uncle Zainal: Tak romantic arh datok korg nie nak uat pengumuman kat tempat mcm nie. Jatuh
air muke kite yg serba tak tau malu nie.
(Not romantic at all la ur grandfather want to make his speech at this kind of place.
Truly drop my water face.)

Wandi: biarlah...
(let it be)

Sis: Ehk, shhh....quiet..diam..

Atok speech really touches our heart. He gave us his blessing and remind us to always play, study and work hard for future endeavous. He also mentioned to us to keep an eye on grandma in case something were to happen to him. His last word was 'money cant buy happiness. And family will always be family'. Aww.. hehehe.. youngsters will always be younsters. We did listen with our ears all on him but at the same time eyes on our plates and mouth kept munching..

We leave the place at around 8.30+.. Took tonnes of candid photos with the young and old. Family photos are yet to be uploaded in facebook. Catch them tonight. *cross fingers*. It is sad to depart from them but nonetheless, photos will remain fresh.

Thats all for today.
