Yesterday we all went to have dinner at Clementi Woods Sakura. Its 2 storey high stretch across the dining area was a full course of buffet line up just for you. Ranging form entree to salads to soups to desserts. Boyfriend busybody as always. Messaging me to save the prawns for him. Of course I'll saved it but its kept nicely in my stomach. lolx..
One table is catered to all those single status youngsters (aged between 18-25) like us. We make an exception to Uncle Zainal (in green) who requestted to be youngsters for a day so we allow his wife and son to sit with us. Im amazed by how gluttoned my cousins were. One plate mountain-full of prawns in a table. Indeed we tried almost everything on the house except for the paper pizza. Yum...Yum..
Cant resist the chocolatey taste, we raced back up the first floor and picked out variety of desserts like mochi stuffed with red bean, cheesecake and peppermint delight. After much wait, finally my grilled scallop with oyster sauce arrived. At one point felt rather pity for the waiter. He's drenched in sweat. Gracefully I thanked him for bringing my food all the way down. Job well done! hah.
Its not the food thats makes me bloated instead the tonnes of laughter and jokes we created. Grandfather Othman wanted to make afew comments and remark for this gathering so we cut out our slapstick nonsense for awhile. One moment of silence. Shh.. Any one found uttering anything will be severely dealt with. No age limit. hahahaha....
Me: Perhatian semuanya, Atok nak buat pengumuman.
(Attention all, Atok wanted to make a speech)
Uncle Zainal: Tak romantic arh datok korg nie nak uat pengumuman kat tempat mcm nie. Jatuh
air muke kite yg serba tak tau malu nie.
(Not romantic at all la ur grandfather want to make his speech at this kind of place.
Truly drop my water face.)
Wandi: biarlah...
(let it be)
Sis: Ehk, shhh....quiet..diam..
Atok speech really touches our heart. He gave us his blessing and remind us to always play, study and work hard for future endeavous. He also mentioned to us to keep an eye on grandma in case something were to happen to him. His last word was 'money cant buy happiness. And family will always be family'. Aww.. hehehe.. youngsters will always be younsters. We did listen with our ears all on him but at the same time eyes on our plates and mouth kept munching..
We leave the place at around 8.30+.. Took tonnes of candid photos with the young and old. Family photos are yet to be uploaded in facebook. Catch them tonight. *cross fingers*. It is sad to depart from them but nonetheless, photos will remain fresh.
Thats all for today.
